We are very excited to announce that our locum tenens staffing team in Hardwick, MA has transitioned to a new office space in the Wheelright School building. Barton’s first Hardwick office opened in 2010 in the upper floor of the Hardwick Kilns building. However, the growing team of locum tenens physician and nurse practitioner recruiters, account managers, and support staff quickly outgrew the space. In 2012, Barton secured the Wheelright School building in Hardwick in order to accommodate this growth. Since then, the 100-year-old, 6,000-square-foot, school building has been completely renovated and is now a state-of-the-art staffing center poised to support growth for years to come. Many of the building’s original features have been preserved, including the floors and the attractive entrance way. The Hardwick Historical Society describes the building’s façade as “a monumental frontispiece of Tuscan columns of two stories and joined by a parapeted entablature, enclosing the double-leafed door, its transom, and the jack-arched window above.” I’ll admit that I had to Google a few of those architecture terms, but if you take a look at the picture to the right, you will get the gist. In any event, we are excited that our company will continue to operate and grow in Hardwick. I think our Vice President of Operations, MaryAnn Stolgitis, sums it up best. “We are excited to start a new chapter for Barton Associates and Hardwick,” said MaryAnn Stolgitis, Vice President of Operations at Barton Associates. “We are proud to be a part of the Hardwick community, and we look forward to staffing our new office space with more of the talented, dedicated professionals who live in the area.” Barton Associates is headquartered in Peabody, MA, with additional offices in Hardwick, MA, Enfield, CT, and Jupiter, FL.
