Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 40-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing on May 4, 2026. This locum tenens opportunity involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for a diverse range of cases, including general, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic procedures. The role includes trauma care, CRNA supervision, and offers a schedule of 4x10s, Monday through Friday, allowing you to deliver essential patient care while maintaining a balanced professional life.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general anesthesia for adult and trauma cases.
  • Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia.
  • Manage obstetrical, neurosurgical (head and spine), thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases.
  • Perform pain management techniques, including post-op epidural and extremity blocks.
  • Utilize epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions, and transforaminal (lumbar and cervical) blocks with x-ray guidance.
  • Execute central line placement, arterial line placement, and PA catheter placement.
  • Supervise CRNAs.
  • Note: Cardiac cases are not required for this assignment.


Additional Information
