Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental check-ups and routine visits
- Oversee and assess quality of hygienists’ cleaning work
- Provide dental care for pediatric patients and children with special needs (including autism)
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and care coordination
- Coordinate with team regarding scheduling needs for patients with special requirements
Additional Information
- Active Texas dental license or eligibility required
- DDS or DMD degree from a U.S. accredited dental school
- Current DEA and CPR certifications required
- Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS), Medicaid Certification, and Nitrous Oxide Certification required
- Must be nitrous certified; oral sedation experience preferred
- Candidates must notify in advance if unable to treat special needs patients
