Job Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 18 patients per day and an option for 10-hour shifts. Candidates must have experience in chronic pain management and panel management, and be licensed in California.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a patient panel with a focus on chronic pain management
- Ensure chart closure within 72 hours
- Provide comprehensive care aligned with family practice protocols
- Maintain compliance with all relevant clinical and regulatory standards
Additional Information
- Must be licensed in California
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine; BE considered if within 5 years of residency
- Active DEA required before start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar panel management setting
