We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This one-day opportunity begins on Dec 5, 2025, with a shift scheduled from 7 am to 3 pm. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings and is ready to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care services in an outpatient setting
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and develop patient care plans
  • Document all patient encounters using Athenahealth EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient care

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care or urgent care outpatient settings required
  • Must hold current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certifications
  • Licensure in Minnesota required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR preferred
