Our client, a clinic located in CT, is in need of a locum (temporary) General Surgery Physician Assistant to fill an opening at their facility for a 36 day assignment. Applicants will be expected to start in early December. For this role, the selected PA should be comfortable seeing patients for typical, bread and butter general surgery cases including being the first assist for patients needing care for gunshots, stabbings, and blunt trauma. Other typical cases include but are not limited to C-lines, A-lines, vent management, and C-sections. Applicants must be comfortable with trauma cases. It is expected that locum will be able to cover the 7pm-8:30am shift and weekends, rotating three 13.5 hour shifts. The schedule is done month to month. shift.
