We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner licensed in California for a 260-day locum tenens assignment with our client. This opportunity starts on Nov 17, 2025, and features weekday day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities and Duties
Function independently in an outpatient setting as part of a team, providing comprehensive patient care
Manage both new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
Counsel and educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and symptom management
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and strong problem-solving skills
Additional Information
At least one year of hematology/oncology experience preferred; strong candidates with less experience may be trained
Required: California NP license, current national board certification (AANP or ANCC), BLS certification, furnishing license, DEA license (to be obtained within 3 months of starting)
Advanced degree in nursing (Masters, DNP, or PhD) required
Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with patients and team members
