Job Description
We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma starting Mar 30, 2026. This ongoing opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with shared call responsibilities alongside group colleagues.Job Details

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; call coverage 2-3 days each week; weekend call rotation once every ten weeks; call is after hours, with a nurse on call until 2 a.m. to assist
Responsibilities and Duties
- Examine and manage patients under treatment, including administration of therapies and supportive care
- Develop and oversee symptom management and supportive care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Conduct new patient consults for hematologic and oncologic referrals
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and progress
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Perform hospital rounds as part of patient care
- Participate in call coverage as required
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Additional Information
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology required
- Must hold an active license in Oklahoma or be eligible via IMLC
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Fellowship training preferred
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
