This role covers 12-hour night shifts on a flexible schedule, supporting four medical floors with a census of 100-120 patients. Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage admissions and consults across four medical floors
- Respond to floor calls, rapid responses, and codes (ICU also responds to codes)
- Collaborate with two physicians and an advanced practice provider overnight
- Provide care for a census ranging from 100 to 120 patients
- No procedures required unless desired
- Support a closed ICU environment
Additional Information
- Must have active North Carolina license
- Required board certification: Internal Medicine
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
