Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 37-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Nevada. This position starts on Jan 5, 2026, and offers a 2-3 day per week schedule, 8am-5pm with an hour lunch. The role focuses on student health within a college environment, including drug screening, physicals, and medication management. There is a strong likelihood of extension for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Track and conduct drug screenings, physicals, and medication management for college students
  • Maintain paper charting and ensure student health records are up to date in the database
  • Perform drug tests as required
  • Participate in staff meetings (Tuesdays 2-2:30pm, Thursdays 1pm) to review students at risk for behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with staff to support student wellness and safety
  • Utilize experience in psych and med management as needed


Additional Information
