We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 9-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 29, 2026. This role offers 24-hour call coverage with a rotating schedule and support from another OB on call. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care during 24-hour call shifts
- Manage deliveries in a high-volume setting (approximately 2200 deliveries per year)
- Perform and manage cesarean sections (32 percent C-section rate)
- Participate in both in-house and out-of-house call coverage
- Collaborate with another OB on call during working dates
- Deliver care to a high Hispanic population
- Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
Additional Information
- Active California medical license required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Experience in a rural setting is preferred
