Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call shifts, 7am–7am; preferred weeks include Nov 3–10, Nov 24–Dec 1, Dec 1–8, and Dec 21–Jan 5; no more than three consecutive 24-hour shifts; on-site orientation required before first shift (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm)
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
Manage labor and delivery, including a minimum of 50 deliveries in the past two years
Perform a range of gynecologic procedures (minimum 25 GYN cases in past two years required)
Respond to emergent OB/GYN situations as needed
Document all care using Epic EMR
Collaborate with on-site clinical team during call coverage
Complete on-site orientation prior to first scheduled shift
Additional Information
Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Ohio license required
Must have COVID vaccine, BLS, NRP (not required through AHA), and ACLS certification
Recent case logs (last two years) required for credentialing
Limited malpractice or clean background preferred for timely credentialing; NPDB documentation required for any background hits
