Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in TN

Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 180-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity features alternating day and night 12-hour shifts, covering both obstetric and gynecologic inpatient care. The assignment requires experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and GYN surgeries, with daily coverage needed throughout the contract period.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecological care
• Manage vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and gynecologic surgeries
• Maintain accurate and timely case logs for all deliveries and surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

• Must hold an active Tennessee medical license
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Recent inpatient OBGYN experience necessary, including all core procedures
