We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Mar 9, 2026. This role features 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, focused on urgent care and emergency medicine cases. Candidates must have a robust background in urgent care or ER settings.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform suturing, splinting, drainages, and general superficial wound care
  • Remove foreign bodies and conduct joint injections
  • Administer occipital nerve blocks
  • Manage a typical urgent care or ER day-to-day caseload

Additional Information
  • Must have urgent care or ER experience; family practice experience is not accepted
  • NY Nurse Practitioner license required
  • Board certified in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
