We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Mar 9, 2026. This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, focusing exclusively on urgent care and emergency medicine cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform sutures, splinting, and drainages
  • Provide general superficial wound care and remove foreign bodies
  • Administer joint injections and occipital nerve blocks
  • Manage a variety of urgent care and emergency medicine cases
  • Deliver care consistent with day-to-day urgent care/ER practice

Additional Information
  • Must have recent urgent care or emergency room experience; family practice experience will not be considered
  • Active New York license required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care required
