Locum Tenens Physician - Cardio Electrophysiology Needed in KY

Job Description

Our client in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Cardio Electrophysiology Physician for a 155-day assignment starting Oct 12, 2026. This role involves comprehensive clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, complemented by weeknight call. The Physician will also dedicate 1-2 days per week to the OR, managing a range of procedures including pacemaker, Afib, and ICD implants, alongside patient consults and follow-ups.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Deliver weeknight call coverage each night, Monday through Friday
• Perform OR duties 1-2 days per week
• Manage procedures including pacemaker, Afib, and ICD implants
• Conduct patient consults and follow-ups

• Required Board Certifications: Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• EMR System: Meditech EHR
• Practice Setting: Clinic and OR
• Call Schedule: Weeknight call from 5 PM - 8 AM (M-F) and 24-hour weekend call. Weeknight call is described as low volume with low callbacks.
