Locum Tenens Dentist - LA Needed in Louisiana

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 20-day assignment in Louisiana. Our client requires a skilled professional to manage a high-volume Medicaid practice, providing comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult patients. The schedule runs full-time, Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on a mix of operative cases and hygiene checks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a high-volume Medicaid practice.
• See approximately 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients per day.
• Provide care for both pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform operative cases, hygiene checks, crowns, bridges, and root canals.

Additional Information

• EMR: Dentrix
• Required Certifications: Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Experience: Minimum three years of experience required.
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patient Volume: 37+ patients per day
• LOA: 20 Days
• Staffing Mix: Staffing model allows for 2-3 hygienists per office, 1 assistant per 1 dentist.
