Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine Needed in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania. The schedule involves various M-S shifts (7a-7p; 1p-11p; 7p-7a, 10a-10p) with a requirement to cover 6-12 shifts monthly, focusing on seeing a wide variety of Emergency Department patients, particularly those with lower acuity, and performing minor procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care to a wide variety of Emergency Department patients, with a focus on lower acuity cases
• Perform minor procedures including I and D's and laceration repairs
• Handle administrative tasks such as radiology and blood work review, as needed
• Address any patient complaint while collaborating with attending Physicians for critically ill patients and complex evaluations

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

• Staffing Mix: Will not work solo
