Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine Needed in Kentucky

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment in Kentucky. The role involves managing 10-20 shifts per month, encompassing both day (7 AM – 7 PM) and night (7 PM – 7 AM) rotations, within an Emergency Department/Urgent Care model. You will provide critical patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients within an Emergency Department/Urgent Care model
• Manage day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine
• EMR: Epic
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patient Volume: Approximately 3-4 patients per hour
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: Solo Physician on shift with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on the swing shift
