Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Montana

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an urgent 21-day assignment in Montana, starting Oct 22, 2024. This role involves 24-hour call, from 5 PM to 5 PM, with an orientation required the day prior to commencement. The physician will conduct morning inpatient rounds, manage basic medical orders, and handle light call volumes with required handoffs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct morning inpatient rounds.
• Order necessary medications for patients.
• Manage light call volumes from lodging, returning to the facility as needed.
• Perform rounding for handoffs with the incoming physician on the last day of call.
• Provide inpatient coverage for a 25-bed Critical Access facility.
• Handle typical ACLS and ATLS procedures, including chest tube insertion and intubation.
• Provide care for newborns upon delivery.
