Locum Tenens Physician - General Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in General Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR for a 60-day assignment in Missouri. This role offers flexible scheduling, including 8-hour days, designed to accommodate physician preference such as two weeks of 5x8s per month or ten shifts monthly. The selected candidate will manage a diverse case mix primarily focused on diagnostic radiology with a component of interventional radiology, requiring a dedicated on-site presence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a case mix of approximately 80–90% Diagnostic Radiology and 10–20% Interventional Radiology.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including myelography.
• Work collaboratively with three current radiologists in the group; other radiologists will remain on-site during coverage.
• Utilize support staff, including Rad Techs and RNs.
• Access on-site lab facilities.
• Operate GE and Siemens equipment.
• Utilize Fuji and McKesson PACS/Imaging systems.
• Document patient information using Cerner in both hospital and office/clinic settings.
• Maintain a required on-site presence due to procedural volume; remote reading is not an option.
