Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Surgery - General Needed in California

We are seeking a dedicated General Surgery Physician Assistant for an engaging 36-day assignment in California. This role involves working 2-3 days a week, typically from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for full-time coverage. The Physician Assistant will primarily focus on first assisting in plastic surgery, handling typical patient consults and procedures, and may also be involved in robotic cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide first assistance in surgical procedures.
• Conduct patient consultations.
• Perform various surgical procedures, with a strong emphasis on plastic surgery.
• Potentially assist in robotic surgery cases across specialties such as Urology, Gynecologic Oncology, General Surgery, Thoracic, and HPB.

• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patient Volume: Approximately 3-6 patients per day
• LOA: 36 Days
• Staffing Mix: Work alongside an MD Surgeon, Surgical Techs, and experienced RN Staff.
• Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
