Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in FL

Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 100-day assignment in Florida. This role involves 9am - 2pm shifts, focusing on comprehensive patient care, including assessments, medication management, and thorough review of laboratory results and patient charts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess and manage patient health, including medication review and chart analysis.
• Utilize EMR systems for medication monitoring and patient record management.
• Collaborate with staff on pill counts and patient medication adherence, interpreting data to adjust treatment plans, particularly for pain management.
• Review laboratory results and patient charts to inform treatment decisions and medication orders.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including military personnel, ex-military, business owners, college students, and long-term workers.
• Manage chronic complex cases, provide wellness checks, and order diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRI's as necessary.

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
