Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist Physician for a 90-day assignment starting Nov 1, 2026, in Louisiana. This clinic-based role focuses on primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, involving a Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM schedule with no weekends. The position offers a close working relationship with ophthalmologists and support from specialists across the health system.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, Section of Optometry.
• Manage a clinic-based position.
• Work closely with ophthalmologists.
• Receive support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the health system.
• Experience in contact lens practice and ocular disease is preferable.
