Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in Louisiana

We are seeking an Optometrist to join our client's team in Louisiana for a 90-day assignment. This clinic-based role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends or call. The successful candidate will provide primary eye care, working collaboratively with permanent ophthalmologists within an integrated practice model.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, Section of Optometry.
• Collaborate closely with permanent ophthalmologists in an integrated practice model.
• Utilize an internal referral network and health system support from specialists and sub-specialists.
• Manage an average patient volume of 20 per day.
• Experience in contact lens practice and ocular disease is preferred.
