Job Description

Our client in MO is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon for a 90-day assignment starting Oct 12, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive orthopedic surgery services, including arthroscopy and total joint replacements, within an 11-bed department. The incoming Physician will manage approximately 10 patients per shift and respond to calls with a 30-minute response time, handling an average of 5 phone consults, 4 patient visits, and 4 admissions per 24 hours while on call.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform arthroscopy procedures
  • Execute total joint replacements including hip, knee, and shoulder
  • Conduct tendon release and repair surgeries
  • Perform peripheral nerve surgery with instrumentation
  • Manage cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal procedures
  • Perform percutaneous disc surgery
  • Provide comprehensive orthopaedic surgery services
  • See approximately 10 patients per shift
  • Maintain a 30-minute response time for calls
  • Handle an average of 5 phone consults, 4 patients seen, and 4 admissions per 24 hours while on call
