Locum Tenens Physician - Orthopedic Trauma Needed in North Carolina

We are actively recruiting an Orthopedic Trauma Physician for a 35-day assignment in North Carolina. This crucial role requires 7 consecutive days of 24-hour coverage, including out-of-house call, to support the client's new Trauma 3 program. The physician will provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma coverage and manage general orthopedic consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour Ortho/Trauma coverage for 7 consecutive days
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons in a new Trauma 3 program
• Handle Ortho consults as needed
• Manage a caseload including ortho trauma cases and general ortho cases
• Be available for out-of-house call

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Orthopaedic Surgery
• Required Certifications: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR System: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Out-of-house call for 24-hour shifts
• Patients Per Day: 2-4
• LOA: 35 Days
