Locum Tenens Physician - Otologist/Neurotologist Needed in WA

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Otologist/Neurotologist Physician for a 90-day assignment in Washington, commencing Mar 1, 2027. This role involves performing diagnostic hearing tests for patients of all ages, interpreting results, making essential recommendations, and managing hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and maintenance during weekday shifts from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry and impedance audiometry for patients from birth to seniors.
• Interpret test results for patients and physicians.
• Make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection etc.
• Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and then fit the aids to the patient providing detailed instruction on the operation and maintenance of the instruments.
• Provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this office.
