Locum Tenens Physician - Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Needed in Washington

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology for a 96-day assignment in Washington. The schedule is flexible, offering options for five 10-hour shifts or 1-3 weeks per month, with typical shift hours from 7a-5p. This crucial role involves providing expert anesthesia services for pediatric cardiac surgery patients, along with supporting Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Pediatric General Anesthesia
• Administer Spinal Anesthesia
• Conduct Open Heart Anesthesia
• Execute Central Line placement
• Perform Arterial Line placement
• Provide anesthesia for various surgery types including Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Head Spine, Neuro, Pediatric, and Thoracic cases
• Support a Trauma Level 0, PEDs Level 2 facility
• Typically manage 1 surgery patient per day
• Support Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging

• Required Board Certifications: Pediatric Anesthesiology

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
• Additional Requirement: MUST be FELLOWSHIP Trained
• Setting: Inpatient
