Locum Tenens Physician - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Needed in AK

Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for a 50-day assignment in Alaska. This role requires Monday to Friday outpatient clinical work, from 8am to 5pm, with a focus on performing various injections and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Focus on outpatient clinical work.
• Perform injections and other procedures within the Surgery Center.
• Manage non-operative musculoskeletal medicine cases.
• Conduct spine evaluations and management.
• Address joint and soft tissue conditions.
• Preferred: Electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS).
• Preferred: Ultrasound-guided injections.
• Utilize an accredited ambulatory surgery center for fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures.
• Preferred, but not required: Performance of spinal injections and nerve blocks, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, and selective nerve root blocks.
• Opportunity to develop and expand interventional spine services.
