Locum Tenens Physician - Urologist Surgeon Needed in Minnesota

We are seeking a skilled Urologist for a 100-day assignment in Minnesota. This role involves a schedule of one week per month, with clinical duties Monday through Friday and surgical procedures every Monday, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring at least seven hours of client-facing time. The Urologist will manage both clinical and surgical responsibilities, with all surgeries pre-scheduled for Mondays.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform both clinical and surgical duties, with surgeries scheduled every Monday
• Manage a patient panel primarily consisting of adults, with some pediatric cases
• Provide general urology services, including evaluation and management of urologic disorders
• Conduct procedures such as cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, and vasectomy

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Urology, Urological Surgery
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR System: Cerner
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patient Volume: 20 – 25 patients per day, with potential to increase to 30 – 35
• LOA: 100 Days
• Staffing Mix: Solo provider supported by RNs, LPNs, and CAs; utilizes a CRNA platform and surgical APRNs
