Locum Tenens Physician - Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Needed in MI

Job Description

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Vascular/Interventional Radiology for a 182-day assignment in Michigan, starting Dec 18, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with no call requirements. This role primarily involves performing vascular and non-vascular procedures, including embolization, angiograms, and thrombolysis, as well as emergent IR procedures such as trauma embolization and abscess drainages. The client prefers candidates who can also read diagnostic cases between procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Vascular and Non-Vascular Procedures: Proficiency in embolization (for trauma, GI bleeds), angiograms, thrombolysis, IVC filter placements/removals, and related procedures.
• Execute Emergency IR Procedures: Including trauma embolization (splenic, hepatic, pelvic), nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and abscess drainages, often on an urgent or emergent basis.
• Read diagnostic cases in between procedures, as preferred.
