Our client in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Anesthetist for a 10-day assignment, covering specific dates in November and December. This role primarily involves providing clinical outpatient care, administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vitals, and participating in 24-hour inhouse call shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide clinical outpatient anesthesia services
Administer various forms of anesthesia including general, local, and regional
Monitor patient vitals throughout surgical procedures
Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia
Manage a diverse case mix including general surgery, urology, ENT, OBGYN, orthopedics, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and pediatric dental cases
Additional Information
Board Certification: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
EMR: Meditech EHR
Work Setting: Call Only with inhouse call requirements
Call Schedule: 7am-7am shifts
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
LOA: 10 Days
Staffing Mix: 2 Physicians and 4 independent Anesthetists
