Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 250-day assignment in Maine, commencing Jan 4, 2027. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia support for a range of surgical cases including orthopedic, podiatric, and general surgery, managing intubation, sedation, and IVs. The Anesthetist will primarily work day shifts and offer occasional assistance with trauma in the emergency department.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work independently to provide anesthesia care.
• Support intubation, sedation, and IV administration.
• Provide anesthesia for orthopedic, podiatry, and general surgery cases, including blocks.
• Occasionally assist in the Emergency Room with trauma cases as needed by the ED physician.
• Operate within a facility featuring three operating rooms, one dedicated to scope procedures.

• Shift hours are typically 7am-5pm.
