Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 104-day assignment in Missouri, commencing Jan 4, 2027. This role involves Saturday shifts, including solo CRNA practice for GI cases and participation in an anesthesia care team model for other Saturday shifts, providing vital anesthesia services in both GI rooms and the main hospital for outpatient endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia services in two GI rooms at the digestive health lab on Saturdays, typically once per month, operating in a solo Anesthetist capacity.
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient endoscopic cases, primarily involving ASA 1 & 2 patients, performed at the main hospital.
• Function independently in a solo CRNA practice setting for GI cases.
• Collaborate effectively within an anesthesia care team model during non-GI Saturday shifts.
• Perform general anesthesia for adult patients.
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for surgical procedures.
• Manage anesthesia for neurosurgical (head and spine), thoracic (excluding open heart), complex vascular (excluding open heart), and complex orthopedic cases.
• Oversee ventilation management and evaluate/manage acute volume/blood pressure issues.
• Execute central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements.

Additional Information

• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
• The role involves a mix of solo CRNA practice for GI cases and collaboration within an anesthesia care team model for other Saturday shifts.
• Cases primarily include outpatient endoscopy.
