Locum Tenens CRNA - NC Needed in North Carolina

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina. Our client is looking for a provider to manage a diverse caseload including Endoscopy, General Surgery, Plastics, Vascular, Neuro and Ortho Spine, Robotics, Orthopedics, and Trauma. The schedule primarily involves 8 or 12-hour shifts, with non-consecutive days possible when working less than five days per week, and requires one Saturday or Sunday shift per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of cases including Endoscopy, General Surgery, Plastics, Vascular, Backs and Spines, Robotics, Orthopedics, and Trauma.
• Adhere to strict protocols regarding procedures not performed by locum tenens Anesthetists, which include Spinals, Epidurals, Nerve Blocks, Upper/Lower Blocks, and Fiber Optics.

• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients per day: 5 to 15
• LOA: 120 days
• Staffing Mix: Typically includes 1 Surgeon, 1 Surgical Assistant, 1 to 2 Scrub Techs, 1 OR Registered Nurse, and the Anesthetist, operating under a strict Medical Direction Model with a 1 to 4 MDA supervision ratio.
