Locum Tenens CRNA - NC Needed in North Carolina

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 72-day assignment. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, including weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays for 8 or 12 hours, or daytime shifts consisting of three non-consecutive 12-hour days (Monday/Thursday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday/Friday). The role emphasizes medical direction, managing a diverse array of challenging acute cases, and working with an experienced team and modern equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide medical direction for cases
• Manage challenging acute cases across various specialties
• Administer anesthesia for a wide range of procedures including Cardiac (optional), Complete Orthopedic, Complex Vascular, Head and Spine, Neuro, Obstetric, Pediatric, Thoracic, GYN, Cysto, General surgery, Lungs, Healthy peds, Endo, Vascular, and Neuro spine cases
• Participate in Code Stroke and EP cases

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)

• Setting: Inpatient
• Patients per day: 2-5
• LOA: 72 Days
• Staffing Mix: 28 RNs, 7 MAs
