Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 72-day assignment in PA, starting Aug 31, 2026. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care, including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT cases. The Anesthetist will assess, prepare, and manage patients through the perioperative/procedural period, developing and implementing anesthetic plans.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of cases including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT. Note: No hearts, OB, or blocks.
  • Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care during the perioperative/procedural period.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive anesthetic plans.
  • Perform thorough history and physical examinations.
  • Obtain informed consent from patients.
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments.
  • Utilize General Anesthesia and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC).
  • Perform invasive monitoring and placement, including CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, and intra-arterial lines.
  • Manage airway, including spinal ANE (arterial lines preferred but not required).
  • Work under a medical direction model with a staffing ratio of 2:1 or 3:1.


Additional Information
