Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Anesthesiology Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiology Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment in New York, starting Sep 21, 2026. This role involves a standard 5-day workweek with 8-hour day shifts, typically from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Anesthesiology Physician Assistant will focus on pre-operative evaluation and optimization for surgical patients, reviewing patient information, utilizing facility protocols, conducting chart reviews, and collaborating closely with the surgery and anesthesia teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Pre-operative evaluation and optimization for upcoming surgical patients
• Review H&P and relevant patient information
• Review and utilize optimization protocols and resources within the facilitys existing system
• Chart review and data collection
• Identify and make appropriate referrals as needed
• Work closely with the Surgery/Anesthesia team
