We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 120-day assignment in Illinois. Our client offers a flexible schedule with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, requiring 5-20 shifts per month. This role involves complex surgical cases including Whipple procedures, liver resections, and various oncologic surgeries, alongside managing high-acuity ICU patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform anesthesia for complex surgical cases including Whipple procedures, liver resections, esophagectomies, gastrectomies, and major colorectal resections.
Manage anesthesia for advanced oncologic surgeries such as HIPEC, major gynecologic oncology debulking, radical cystectomies, major urologic oncology, thoracic oncology (lobectomy, pneumonectomy, mediastinal tumors), head & neck cancer resections, free-flap reconstruction, major sarcoma resections, pelvic/retroperitoneal tumor resections, and brain/spine tumor surgery.
Provide anesthesia for patients with hematologic malignancies and transplant recipients.
Care for high-acuity ICU patients and emergency oncologic surgery cases.
Conduct endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures.

Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
