Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in IL

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist in Illinois for a 120-day assignment. The role involves a flexible schedule offering 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with 5 to 20 shifts per month. This physician will manage a diverse range of pain management and anesthesia procedures, including various nerve blocks, injections, and neuromodulation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform epidural steroid injections
• Conduct selective nerve-root injections
• Administer facet injections
• Perform medial branch blocks
• Execute radiofrequency ablations
• Manage sympathetic blocks
• Conduct celiac plexus blocks
• Administer splanchnic nerve blocks
• Perform superior hypogastric plexus blocks
• Conduct ganglion impar blocks
• Administer intercostal nerve blocks
• Perform peripheral nerve blocks
• Conduct trigger-point injections
• Manage intrathecal drug delivery
• Administer epidural analgesia
• Perform neuromodulation procedures

• Board Certifications: Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

• Patients per day: 15 - 20
• LOA: 120 Days
• Staffing Mix: 3 MDA with full support
