Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in Oregon

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist in Oregon for a 60-day assignment. This role involves 7-21 shifts per month, with options for 10, 12, or 16-hour shifts, including weekday shifts and required call. The successful physician will collaborate with CRNAs, manage various cases, and provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a major trauma center.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a wide range of cases including Neuro, GI, EP, Cath Lab, General, GYN, OB, Ortho, and Peds.
• Manage weekday shifts, including 10, 12, and 16-hour durations, with required call responsibilities.
• Participate in general-main OR, 2nd Pager Call, weeknight (11p-7a Mon-Fri) and weekend (Sat 5p-7a, Sun 7a-7a) rotations.
• Engage in OB 24-hour in-house call (7a-7a) within a collaborative team model, requiring substantial, recent OB experience.
• Handle Peds remote call, with weeknight (5p-7a Mon-Fri) and weekend (24hrs Sat-Sun) schedules.
• Collaborate effectively within a care team model, working alongside Anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation.
• Operate within a 509-bed Trauma Center environment with 25 ORs and 2 OB suites.
• Physicians will not work with Residents.

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Specific Requirement: Must have substantial, recent OB experience.

• Call Schedule: Required. Includes First Call from home, General 1:7 home call physician rotation, OB 24-hour in-house call (7a-7a) with CRNA rooms (1 MD to 2 CRNAs), and Peds remote call. Ability to take call from home if within 30-minute callback time. Post call day off provided.
