Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Anesthesiology for an assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Nov 16, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services for orthopedic cases, with a particular focus on administering nerve blocks. The schedule consists of standard 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 to 16:00, ensuring a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform pre-operative patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and manage general, regional, and local anesthesia, with an emphasis on nerve blocks for orthopedic procedures.
• Continuously monitor patient physiological responses and vital signs throughout surgical interventions.
• Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery oversight.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is necessary.
• The primary case focus involves blocks for orthopedic procedures.
