Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Anesthesiology for a 66-day assignment in Pennsylvania. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 5:30 PM, alongside weeknight and 24-hour weekend call. Responsibilities include supervising CRNAs, providing hands-on care, and performing basic orthopedic blocks, focusing on general and regional anesthesia with a comfort level for pediatric cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide supervision of CRNAs, with hands-on care as required.
• Perform basic orthopedic blocks.
• Manage general anesthesia cases.
• Administer regional anesthesia.
• Handle orthopedic cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Anesthesiology
• EMR: Epic
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Comfortable with Pediatrics and Regional Anesthesia.
• Willing to take weeknight and 24-hour call.
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Weeknight call Monday through Friday 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM; Weekend call Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
• Call Type: Out of House Call
• Patients per day: Average daily census of 16-20 cases, not including add-ons.
• LOA: 66 Days
• Staffing Mix: 2 Physicians onsite, CRNAs.
