Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in Vermont

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in Vermont. This role involves providing general adult anesthesiology services at an academic tertiary/Level I trauma center, managing a broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI, vascular, OB/GYN, neuro/spine, trauma/emergency, and regional anesthesia procedures. The schedule typically consists of three 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM shifts per week, with an expectation of participation in a rotating call schedule that may include nights and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general adult anesthesiology care within an academic tertiary/Level I trauma center setting.
• Manage a broad adult case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI, vascular, OB/GYN, neuro/spine, trauma/emergency, and regional anesthesia cases.
• Work with cardiac and complex neuro cases performed at the facility.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule, which may include night and weekend coverage.

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Setting: Clinic and Call (mix of inpatient and outpatient)
• Call Schedule: Out of house call on rotation, open to night and weekends.
• Patients per day: 4-8, depending on case complexity.
• LOA: 120 Days
• Staffing Mix: Mixed MD/CRNA model with Fellows and Residents.
• Case Exclusions: No pediatric cases.
