Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Needed in Michigan

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 70-day assignment in Michigan. This role involves a consistent 7-on, 7-off schedule, Sunday through Saturday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no overnights or on-call duties. The primary focus will be inpatient rounding with physicians, managing follow-up patients, providing discharge instructions, and overseeing post-procedure care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Staff with physicians for inpatient rounding.
• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service.
• Provide comprehensive discharge instructions to patients.
• Oversee and manage post-procedure care.

Additional Information

• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Primarily Inpatient (80% IP, 20% OP)
• No on-call requirement
• Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day on the inpatient list
• LOA: 70 Days
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
