Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in Alaska

Our client in Alaska is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Physician for a 90-day assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient cardiology care, including patient consultations, examinations, and developing treatment plans, for 4-5 days per month with shifts typically running from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care and management to patients.
• Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic interpretations related to cardiovascular health.
• Formulate and implement effective treatment plans, monitoring patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Work setting is Outpatient (Clinic Only).
• Expected patient volume of 14-16 patients per day.
• EMR system utilized: Epic.
• Schedule involves 4-5 days per month, with daily shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• LOA: 90 Days.
