Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Cardiology Needed in Michigan

Our client in Michigan seeks a dedicated Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 70-day assignment. This role involves a 7-on, 7-off schedule, two weeks per month, Sunday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with no overnights or on-call duties. The position focuses on 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient care, supporting physicians with inpatient rounding, managing cardiology follow-up patients, providing discharge instructions, and handling post-procedure care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient care, primarily collaborating with physicians for inpatient rounding.
• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service.
• Deliver comprehensive discharge instructions.
• Oversee post-procedure patient care.
