Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in New Mexico

Our client in New Mexico is actively seeking a dedicated Cardiologist Physician to undertake a fulfilling 60-day locum tenens assignment, commencing on Oct 1, 2024. This vital role operates on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, primarily within an outpatient clinic environment. The successful physician will be responsible for a range of critical cardiac duties, including taking generalist call, meticulously interpreting echocardiograms, and potentially performing Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) procedures, contributing significantly to patient care within the facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Take generalist call
• Read echocardiograms
• Potentially perform TEE procedures
• Manage outpatient and inpatient cardiology cases
• Handle non-invasive cardiology procedures
• Interpret echocardiography and TEE results
• Manage STEMI cases
• Perform invasive cardiology (diagnostic only)
