Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Needed in Florida

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Surgery - Cardiothoracic for a 4-day assignment in Florida, commencing Jul 22, 2025. This role involves providing 24-hour call coverage with potential 8-hour daily rounding in the hospital, assisting in CT Surgery with vein harvesting, and managing post-clinic duties in a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage
• Perform CT Surgery first assist duties, including vein harvesting
• Conduct hospital rounds during the day (up to 8 hours)
• Manage 24-hour call responsibilities post-clinic
• Work within a Level II trauma center environment

Additional Information

• Specific Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: 24hr Out of House Call
• Patients per day: 1-2 procedures
• LOA: 4 days
• Staffing Mix: 1 MD, no other APPs
