Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Needed in Ohio

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner in Ohio for a 56-day assignment, offering a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. The client is open to 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, or every weekend coverage. This role focuses on the management of post-operative vascular and cardiac patients, including notes and discharges, seeing approximately 5 inpatients plus consults per shift.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage post-operative vascular and cardiac patients, including notes and discharges.
• Assume management of patients once transitioned from the ICU.
• Handle approximately 5 inpatients plus consults per shift, including ED consults.
• Work within a heavy consult group.
• No procedures required.
• Provide coverage for 3 months with potential for extension.
